Bottle from the crowdfunding, shared with Marko and Fin. Murky amber golden. Dusty, funky, bretty, sour, fruity, lactose nose. Full, rather sour, tangy, dry, funky. A bit too sour, but interesting.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas and Ursula, cheers guys, and consumed in the company of Ursula and Marko Saturday 19th July 2025 at the Mangled Ham tasting. Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Nice funky, fuzzy, zippy, tart, tongue twirler of a beer and of course it's a bretty beer also. Nice beer, I'm glad we shared this because a bottle of this size would be very hard work for me on my own (Loz is not a fan of sours).

0.75l bottle courtesy of Ursula (and Jonas I guess), Mangled Fly tasting. Bretty Lup, "the second life of Lucky Lup 2018". Hazy golden, small foam gone soon. Spicy, resinous aroma, smooth, apricot, dates, unusual green fruit notes really, definitely bretty. Tart taste, apricots galore, sour ones though, with bretty herbal-funky undertones, some odd green fruit touches. Not thrilling, bit too sour and oddly funky for that, but very much glad to have tried it, very interesting!

330 ml bottle bought at BKL 2018, bb Sept. 2020.
Golden-amber, hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head.
Aroma of Brett, green apples, pears, wood, fruit yoghurt, some grass.
Tastes quite similar, while with more citrus, a bit more tartness.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes a bit dry, moderate wooden, Bretty, with apples, pears,

Very nice. Lots of Brett and fruit notes, with some hops from the background. Drinks very fresh, the ABV isn't noticeable. Not outstanding maybe, but a very solid Brett ale how I like it.
