Neprůhledná černá barva, nízká béžová pěna. Aroma hořké čokolády, kávy a tmavého ovoce. Chuť plná, komplexní. Lze cítit jak tóny čokolády či kávy, tak chuť ovoce a likérovost. Říz nízký, hořkost vybalancovaná se zbytkovým extraktem. Dlouhá a intenzivní dochuť zakulacená dřevitými tóny.

Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, vanilla, lactose and heavy wood. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation. A different imperial stout to the norm, good but bit too woody.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Black with with light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and heavy wood. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. The wood is a bit too much for me, but otherwise a great beer. 170617

Bottle thanks to JoeT. Pours a murky brown color with a medium brown head. A big sugary nose. Licorice, sweet toast, a bit of layers of caramel, light ash and roast. Very nice.
