Juicy, exciting fruit flavours before an intense bitterness as sharp as a Macaw’s screech.

Appearance is amber, with a solid cream head. Aroma- very fruity and orangey, fruitcake, marmalade. Taste- fruit, orange, soft malts, marmalade on toast, subtle hop bitterness. Good.

Bottle@The Globe, Copenhagen (Championship final Day) - (Export 4.8% version) golden Amber pour with white head. Sweet fruity and malty with some vague grapefruit and peachy notes, sweet caramel malty base, subdued hoppy finish. Pretty pedestrian stuff.

Tasting at Matt’s, 4.8% ABV
Hazy golden color. Weedy hops in the aroma. Cereal flavor, some chamomile, some weed hops; definitively old, stale, but not bad.

Bottle in Vancouver. Well right away on the nose this is nothing like the cask one I had in England, which of course was delicious. Light bronze colour. No head. Sort of an earthy, overripe fruit note on the nose, with a fair bit of caramel. Caramelly palate with some hop bitterness, but not at all the sort of hop brightness that I associate with this beer.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out boiled vegetables and biscuity malt. Flavour is a little better, with herbal hops. light vegetal notes, and biscuity malt. Better on the palate than the nose. It's decent.
