Juicy, exciting fruit flavours before an intense bitterness as sharp as a Macaw’s screech.
Hopped with: Summit and Amarillo.

Cask @ Engineers Arms, Henlow. Amber, almost copper. Little head. Slightly muted aroma: grape, grass and malt. Sharp bitterness throughout. A hint of fruity sweetness is present but overpowered. Not the most exciting in Oakham’s stable. Good enough but I wouldn’t go out of my way to have it again.

500ml bottle, 4.8%. Clear orangey gold amber colour, foam white head leaving some lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, peach & citrus hop. Taste is biscuity malt caramel with zesty gooseberry and grapefruit hoppy bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, lingering dry back of throat bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Light amber colour. Big hop nose is full of tropical goodness - mango, dragonfruit, papaya... Lots of bitterness, clean pale malts and all kinds of big fruity hops. Gorgeous stuff.

500ml bottle. Clear, deep golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grainy aroma, fruity hints of gooseberry. Taste is initially minimally grainy, fruity hints of gooseberry, a touch of peach, more and more bitter hoppy middle part, later again more fruity with subtle sweetness, some peach; bitter, minimally chalky finish. Nice, diversified development of taste, soft palate, matching carbonation. Really nice.
