Bottle. A- Bourbon, black cherries, oak, dates. A- Mahogany color, hazy liquid with lots of sediment, off white head. T- Bourbon, oak, dark cherries, dark fruits. P- Medium full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- Hate all the sediment in here but hey. The aging in oak barrels surprisingly didn’t create a boozy mess. The bourbon and oak are present but soft enough that the other notes come through. While I don’t like the looks of it, I did enjoy the taste of it.

Trotz der Süße ist das Bier durch seine Trockenheit ausgewogen, mild herb, getreidig. Helles Malz, spritzig, Bourbon, allerdings nicht zu stark. Würzig herb getreidiger Nachhall. 11/13/11/13/9/13

Bottle @ home. Dark amber to copper colour with a small white head. Smells very sweet, barley wine, alcohol, slightly raisins. Typical barleywine if you ask me. Tastes horribly sweet, baverois, barley wine, extra sweet apricot. Sick. Alcoholic. Full body, soft carbo.
