Pour is a hazy orange with a rather small fizzy white head. Aroma is candi sugar, white pepper and cherry juice. Flavor is more cherry, a little tartness and i guess there is a bit of herbal spice in there. The problem with this beer is that it is pretty flat and lifeless. This is more biere de garde than saison. A little bit disappointing especially from these two brewers.

750ml bottle in Vermont on a trip a while back. Hazy golden colour with a white head, some dirty lace and toping on the brew. Grassy nose with the Saison yeast and some tropical fruits. The fruits are also the prime in the taste. Some wild yeast earthiness and sourness. Well-blended, so seems milder all-around. A nice collaboration.

Shared 750ml bottle. Pours a hazy orangish-gold, with a small short-lived white head. Aroma of funk, earth, fruit, spice. Taste follows nose with Belgian yeast, barnyard and a healthy dose of black pepper. Carbonation is soft. Good.

Bottle shared by Bobby - thanks! Pours very hazy orange, small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma is grassy, hints of banana and funk, black pepper and faint citrus notes; almost like a dry hop. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, belgian yeast notes (banana, clove, field grass), hints of citrus and caramel. Medium body.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is rather fruity with a light grainy malt note. Some citrus notes with pineapple, stone fruit and pear. Light floral notes similar to yarrow and cardamom. Some coriander as well. Pours a hazy golden color with some copper-orange hues and a medium sized, thick white head that recedes to the edges where a small film lingers for a bit. No lacing or legs. Flavor has a slight to medium light sweetness with some grain and candi sugar notes. Nice fruit notes with some citrus, pear, stone fruit and tropical fruit. Medium light floral notes with some spicy phenolics as well. Medium low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very nice Fantome. Good fruit notes with some balanced floral notes and phenolics. A bit of malt and some light sweetness. Very nice.
