Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a beige head. Greasy, roasty aroma. Rich body, heavy, thick solid roast combined with some raisin notes. Lowish carbonation. Some alcohol. But very nice actually. 130914

Draught @ BAJT. Pours black with a big frothy dark mocha head that slowly dissipates while leaving some very thick lacing on the glass. Smell is heavy malty and tiny fruity with toasted malts, pumpernickel bread, raisins, St. John’s wort, hay, plums, caramel, moss, butterscotch hard candy and chocolate fudge. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, pumpernickel bread, golden syrup, hay, raisins, soil, sweetened dark roast coffee, chocolate, fudge, butterscotch hard candy, burnt wood, sweet liqurioce candy and hints of dried pine needles. Mouthfeel is round, creamt, tiny roasted astringent and medium to full bodied. finish is tiny sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, pumpernickel bread, St. John’s wort, rasisins, cocoa powder, dark roast coffee, burnt wood, sweet liquorice candy and coffee. Very drinkable, tasty and balanced Baltic Porter.
