Taster at Prestige. Last of a wondrous flight. Had kind of a mild eye nose, not a strong alcohol snoot. Again deep black, with a couple bubbled of foam out of the can. Taste has more of a stout palate, but it's very mild, with little harsh roastiness. Both this and the bouncing version are very restrained, even as they bring on the alcohol. More stickiness on the lips, probably cumulative after 3 tasters.

Bottle picked up at Beer Republic webshop Nr Breda Netherlands and consumed at home Wednesday 20th April 2022 listening to Tom Ravenscroft sitting in for Marc Riley on 6 Music, we had a nice Thai Chicken Curry. Pours shark eye black with a light beige head. Taste is chocolate, liquorice, it's super smooth, a little warming from the barrel ageing and a little light booziness. Very, very nice, thick mouthfeel, some rich dark chocolate cake. Lovely, lovely stout, gave 3.9 10mins ago but immediately upgrading this rating now to 4.2, it's really nice.

Pint can pours with a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up molasses infused dark roasted malts, chocolate malts a touch of caramel malts and then a bit of booze into the end of the draw. The taste delivers sooth somewhat velvety slick dark chocolate goodness sliding into a blend of dark roasted malts, some thin sweet caramel notes and slightly burnt toffee. Nice! Beneath the beer flavors are firm murmurs of spicy boozy rye and boozy booze goodness that creates a little more intensity to the experience to remind you this beer isn't messing around. All hail the Matryoshka!
