South Pacific Pale Ale
Kipling was the first UK beer to use the exquisite Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. We brew this as a SMASH (Single Malt and Single Hop) using the heritage Maris Otter as a base malt which works to allow the complex flavour of this hop to really shine through. There is a grassy, grapefruit character on the nose, followed by passionfruit and mango. It finishes with a balanced and thirst-quenching bitterness.

Was für eine Hopfenbombe. Sehr voll, man hat das Gefühl es sei mehr Alkohol drin. Die angepriesene Fruchtigkeit geht fast etwas unter. Dennoch sehr lecker.

lattina 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, colore giallo pallido velato, al naso è intensa frutta tropicale kiwi vino bianco note erbacee, in bocca vino bianco aromatico pompelmo uva, corpo leggero, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato, secca nel finale. Molto beverina e dissetante. Semplice e pulita. La mia prima dello stile. c. Cantina della birra 02.05.21

Bottle from Geers. Clear golden with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma of melon, pineapple, lime, hard pear, apple peel, honey, vague butter. Taste has sweetish melon, apple & pear, bitter grapefruit & pine, accent of zesty citrus rind, all the while yeasty with a honey malty body. Piney hoppy finish, yeasty, more melon & citrus peel. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Refreshing, sympathetic.

Bottle from Waitrose. Very clear blond colour with big fluffy white head. Aroma grassy hops and a bit of fruit, orange and tropical fruit. Bit of creamy maltiness too. Taste is more fruity than bitter. Kiwi maybe, something exotic. Finish has a touch of bitterness and grass too, and a bit of biscuit. Maybe a touch thin in the mouth though. Quite nice though.
