The hop flavor’s big, but like life in New Orleans, we’re taking it easy. This Session IPA is brewed with lemon peels and dry hopped with Cascade, Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe for a hoppy aroma of citrus, fruit and pine. Easy to drink and just right for long hot days, steamy nights, parades or a day on the river with friends.

Bottle at Bayou Beer Garden, New Orleans. Fruity aroma with zesty citrus, lemon, orange, light pale malt. Light sweet, medium bitterness. Light to medium body. Mostly citrussy, refreshing.

A golden and slightly hazy beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has riped fruits, citrus, peach. Taste has fruitness, citrus, some pine and bitterness. Medium bodied. I'd prefer more fruits and this should be fresher.

355ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally musty, citrusy fruity and caramel malty aroma, notes of old lemon peel, a touch of lemon pith. Taste is citrusy fruity and slightly zesty bitter, minimally fruit acidic, hints of lemon, lemon juice, lemon peel with a minimally soapy touch, diluted caramel malty basis with subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light body, quite watery, not overly (re-)fresh(-ing) - meh.

ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, light resin, light pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, pine, fruity hops, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200111]
