Bottle from a Russian grocery store in Charlotte. Clear golden amber color, thin white head. Aroma of boozy caramel. Taste is sweet and sticky boozy toasted caramel.

The Beer Store, Southampton PA 50cl: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is apples, sugar, and booze. Taste is the same. In honesty, this was far from as bad as I thought it would be. Granted, this is not good, but it is way better than much other malt liquor. One would be hard-pressed to realize that this was a 12 percenter.

Purchased at Fresh Farms in Niles, IL; enjoyed at home prior to the Super Bowl. Why did I decide to buy this? I don’t think I can finish this. Pale yellow, slightly bubbly, with a taste of the bottom of a lager yeast vial. It’s not good man, not good at all. Not the worst beer ever, but relatively close.

50cl bottle pours clear copper with thin off white head. The aroma has plenty of strong apples and honey and slippery sweet sugary malts as well as a mild chemical booziness. The taste is basically the same with apple and pear sugary notes blending into a bit of honey and booze. Strangely this really isn’t that offensive on the whole.

Weird to be the 1st rater. Bottle from Big Star in Seattle. Pours light amber with a bubbly/foamy white head. Aroma is lightly spicey over cooked breadiness. Not terrible, but not inviting. Touch of heat. Flavor is spicey/grassy over bready malt. It’s actually pretty drinkable. But the ABV is killer, and this is not a barrel aged impy stout. All in all I’m ok with this. Ever so much better than mass produced malt liquor. Looking for a cheap quick buzz with the illusion of class? This is it.
