We believe that great beer is rooted to the people who make it and the place where it’s made. Intent on making great beer, brewers’ days here start early and end late in what is a long day of combining water, malt, hops, and yeast. While it’s easy to get lost in the work, the process and the brewery itself. the world just outside our doors is gorgeous, at times seemingly more breathtaking than any other place on earth. This saison is made in celebration of the insanely mesmerizing pink, orange, and azure Capitola sunsets that end our day. Like a far away place right in our backyard, Capitola Sunset inspires us to see beauty even when we aren’t looking for it. Sante!

Light hazy frothy white head. Very austere nose with Brett, big phenols, rye and freshly cut hay. Medium light body, sour, lots of hay with rye notes. Very sour for the style but highly refreshing and hoppy. Love this.
