Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London during Jack’s farewell tasting. Thanks to Josh for trading this one to me. A slow gusher! Pours mostly clear, pale yellow with a fine, foamy white head. Some dry and yeasty dough in the nose, a bit of lemon. Light to medium sweet sweet flavor, a bit of funk, some lemon merengue, hay. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Light sweet finish, fairly sweet white bread, subtle horse blanket, wet hay, light funk. Very drinkable and refreshing.

[9/12] Bottle, 11C. Gusher. Cloudy pale orange with a huge white head that collapse to an inch after a while. Lovely aroma of lemon, orange blossoms, cardamon, coriander, dusty basements, hay. Light bodied with highish carbonation. Sweet with hay and a little honey, lemon, floral and spicy notes. Drying rather than twangy brett notes at the end. Refreshing but less involving to drink than smell. [3.5] [9/14] Gold with a large white head. A few chunks despite a fairly careful pour. Aroma as before. Taste: A little more honey, floral and quite lemony and this time this is a bit of a twangy note at the end. Again, smells great. More involving to drink this time but not quite as harmonious as some of their other beers. Still pretty good, though.

Pours hazy light amber with a large, sudsy head.Nose shows funky Brett notes, spicy phenols and lemon notes. Refreshing.Light flavours, more lemon and soft malt but also prominent doughy notes to the point of being distracting.Carbonation is waaaay too high.A little disappointing considering how well the original hit the mark.
