Bottle. Black colour with a mediumsized off-white beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, some wood, cocoa, vanilla, coffee, tar and mild alcohol sweetness too. Flavour is cocoa, some vanilla, roasted notes, mild raisins, dates, figs and mild ripe fruits with some slight toasted tones. Too sweet to really be a proper Baltic Porter... but I still like it a bunch!

12oz bottle that the abv is 9.5%. Pour is black with a small tan head. Aroma is all bourbon barrel. I get some oaky vanilla and cinnamon. Flavor is again heavy on the bourbon barrel. Some whisky notes with vanilla and smoky ash. Roasted malt is way in the backround and hits you well after the swallow. As a baltic porter I don't know but as a bourbon barrel aged porter this is spot on.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour, almost black, with hints of ruby when seen through light. Frothy beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, roasted nose with liquorice, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, black rye bread, plums, a touch of oak wood and slightly herbal aromas. Malty, roasted taste with notes of liquorice, cacao, black rye bread, coffee, plums, some oak wood, vanilla, a touch of mint and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty, clean and well balanced Baltic porter. Very nice.
