Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. Swap form Ratebeer. Thanks TomHendriksen! Colour is very dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Ripe fruits, alcohol, some nuts/chocolate, malt... boozy.

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en kruidig met iets wat ik helaas niet kan definiëren maar gaandeweg best wel smaakt. Heel anders dan de meeste quadrupels dit bier maar desondanks wat mij betreft heel geslaagd.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven 100 watt Nuit Noire ].[ Courtesy of flaskefolket ]. Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, sweet malt, molasses, dark fruit, moderate to heavy yeasty, belgium yeast, sweet yeast, spicy, raisin, plum. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, dark malt, belgium yeast, raisin, plum, dark fruit, sweet malt, sweet yeast, light coffee - chocolate - cocoa. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20181103] 7-3-7-3-15

Bottle. Dark color. Aroma of ripe fruit, dates, raisin, caramel, cinnnamon and nuts. Taste of raisin, caramelised malt, sweet spices, dates, hazelnut and some zoethout. Decent spicey quad, enjoyable.

Bottle, 10%, BB 10.2021 (from hetbiermoment). Pours black with light brown head. Small head stays. Aroma is spices, roast, malt, grains, a ton of booze, cardboard, some fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, some cardboard, malt, raisins, cocoa, coffee, booze, spices. Finish is sweet, grainy and dry with some raisisins and noticeable booze burn. Overall: too boozy, tastes like a beer cocktail (as expected from the ingredients list), and it has lagerish notes I don’t enjoy. So not a good beer on paper. But for some reason I’m still enjoying it a lot as silly beer-drink, and despite all the adjunts it doesn’t oveload my palate, which is always a good thing.

Het bier geprobeerd met Roelzie1986, bij de stadsbrouwerij. Het is een lekker donker winterberg.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Almost black with small beige head. Lots of marzipan, sweet malts, raisins, light chocolate, figs, light herbs. Quite sweet and under medium bitter. Over medium bodied.
