At 8.5%, this one’s bringing big hop energy without losing that clean, crushable edge. Vista + Mackenzie hops load it up with citrus brightness and a touch of West Coast pine, while the lager fermentation keeps it crisp and refreshing.

Poured from 568mL can. Clear gold with full off-white head. Mild floral and grapefruit hops, light sweet malt, touch of booze, no off flavours, just the hops are a bit muted and base is a bit sweet and boozy. Average.

568mL can. Pours cleae gold with an off-white head. Floral pine and some malts on the nose. Flavour has a very sweet malt backbone, some floral pine hopping, candied grapefruit peels, and a boozy, slightly bitter finish. Sloppy and heavy-handed.

568mL can, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma has some grassy hops, a touch of bitter pine, and some grapefruit peel. Flavour has plenty of resinous and piney hops, some fusel alcohols that come across a little like nail polish removed, bitter grapefruit peel, floral notes, and a touch of sweet biscuity malt. Not a great hop expression and the beer structure is rather messy. Like most renditions to the Super Tall series, this leaves something to be desired.
