Keg at One Pint Pub, Helsinki.
Poured deep amber in color, dense white head.
Malty, sweet and bready. Warming feel, shows some light alcohol. Decent, sweetish barley wine.

Copper colour, tiny off-white head. Raisins, malts in the nose. Medium-bodied. Raisins, prunes, earthy hops and alcohol in the flavour. Quite sweet. Needs ageing. PBF XV.

Canned at PBF. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly aroma. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and toffee. Warming bitter finish. Potent, but very caramelly.

(Keg at Oluthuone Haka, 20250829) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had toasted malts, caramel, dark fruits and nuts. Palate was full bodied and mildly warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, toffee, caramel, earth, dark fruits and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, dry rye bread and bitterness. A tasty malty brew. Pleasantly dry.
