Can from Tavour drunk 8/26/25.
Dark, undetermined clarity. Small, tan head, quickly to bubbles on the edge.
Rich cacao but not dominating. The other three adjuncts, while notable do not dominate either and add light complexity while letting the fudgey, minimally roasty, rich stout through, alongside bright, peppery, spicy bourbon, soft vanilla, oak and no alcohol or excess sugar.
Similar flavors in the mouth with a large, but not excessive helping of rich bourbon adding lovely acidity to balance the deep, fudgey, rich malts. Great attenuation, taking the body near syrupy, but not quite and leaving no excess/syrupy sugar on the palate. The adjuncts are incredibly tasteful for a 2025 vintage beer and obviously someone knows what they're doing here, not blasting the beer full of them. Rich, intensely flavorful, but properly aged and attenuated, making it possible to drink probably 3 of these cans in one sitting, potentially.
