Bottle thanks to James. Pours a hazy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is candy sugar, dark fruit, bourbon. Medium mouth, strong toffee, raisin, sweet, nice booze, good.

Bottle at THT. Dark amber with small off white head. Sweet grains and malts, sweet caramel and toffee, cognac, alcoholic and boozy, marzipan. Quite sweet with alcoholic bitterness. Full bodied.

Sampled from bottle @ Hey Julien is back and Dean’s floor is moist tasting. Hazy red color, small off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, some alcohol, some hops and nicely bitter. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Nice!

Sample at the THT September Very thin white head. No carbonation. Very hazy amber pour. Alcohol. A very good barley wine.

Bottle shared thanks to Vaiz. Pours hazy amber brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of massive rich malt, vanilla, oak, bourbon, toffee and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle split at the RBESG ’15 Grand Tasting, Taphouse CPH day 4, 23/08/15. Lightly hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is bitter orange, bourbon strokes, caramel, spice, wooded notes, dates. Taste comprises fruit cake, sweet and sour vibes, dates, figs, orange. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, sweet licks and a rising boost in the close. Solid BA barley wine, nice and subtle.

Bottle, Øllets dag, Kolding. Hazy amber, small light beige head. Aroma has dried fruit, wood, brown sugar, caramel malt. Oily mouthfeel, more fruity malt, wood, warm booze and hop bitterness. Nice.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Brooklyn Hand & Seal ].Clear matt medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dried fruit, oxidide, oak - wood - vanilla. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, dried fruit, caramel, sweet malt, figs, woody, light oxidide, warming alcohol. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20150529]
