Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear dark brown amber beer, good tan head, but it fizzes away quickly. Light and smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Smooth light cakey dark chocolate malts. Touches of icing sugar and floral nuttyness. Estery bourbon barrel on the back end along with a small pinch of spice. Good.

Can at home, procured from an online peddler, 22/02/24. Lighter shade of black with a decent beige cap that thins to the edge. Nose is maple syrup, chocolate, spice, dark malts, mellow rye barrel, brown sugar dusting. Taste comprises roast malts, chocolate maltesers, rye barrel, toffee fudge, light smoke, charr, molasses, maple coated, light coffee bite. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Fun impy stout that weighs in well below the stated 12.7%.

Bottled 10.26.2020, drunk 12/26/2023. Clear, dark brown. Small, somewhat fizzy, light tan head shows low retention. Oh wow, actual whiskey in the nose! Chocolate, fruity yeast, bit of salt and char. Soft vanilla on the finish with no booze or other aggressive notes. Rich, soft, sweet, malty. Great balance of salty char, sweet malt, spicy rye. Wow the rye in this is insanely flavorful without being tannic or over-roasted/charred. And it's not boozey. Rich malt is just south of syrupy, but is full and comforting. Sweet, but with good balance from whiskey, coffee and barrel. Lingering vanilla, rye, chocolate and a pinch of dry, salty char. The sweetness still sticks with you, though. And this is with three years of age on it....

Can - dark brown pour with a thick and sticky lace - heavy on the maple and coffee, with a touch of bacon smokiness - whiskey notes late - a sharp acidity that seems most likely from the coffee leaves it a little abrasive on the tail end - meh.

very dry, with tons of chocolate, rye, chocolate, touch of bacon and oak character. Tons of rye, tons of chocolate, tons of oak and nice smoke in the background. Super well balanced. No alcohol. Super well balanced. Excellent

Single from Webb Chapel Beer in North Dallas. Stemless wine glass back @ the bnb. Black, brown highlights, coco head. Smell is sharp whiskey & coffee. Taste is rich, bittersweet, coffee grounds, too much whiskey, with an ending of bacon grease. Lingering soft bitterness. Greasy, medium carb, really heavy. So rough. Okay to good.
