Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt, cinnamon, cookies, caramel, chocolate, speculaas, roast, touch of liquorice, marshmallows and coffee. Flavour is fairly sweet with a roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full. Pretty enjoyable and well-made spicy roasty Stout-ish beer.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.8%, 46 EBU. Nearly black colour, moderate tan head. Moderate malty aroma, caramel, roast malts, liquorice, hints of Christmas spices. Fairly sweet flavour, distinct liquorice and caramel, roast malts, coffee, some spices. Piney bittering hops in the finish.

Black with a minimal head. Aroma of roasted malt, spices, anise and dried fruit sense. Sweet with a roasted malt and spices ending. BB. 09.2026.

On tap at Kaapse Brouwers, Rotterdam, Holland. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, cinammon, caramel aroma and taste. Pleasantly sweet, good one.

7-4-7-4-14 Bottle, nine years before bbd. Pours black, with a brown rocky head. Aroma is dark malts with leather, spicy notes of cinnamon, cardamom and cloves, as well as cocoa, kandi, dark fruits, tannins and wooden notes. Creamy body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is dark roasted malts, with rye bread, spicy notes of cardamom, cinnamon and cloves, as well as leather and kandi.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malty, soft roasty caramelly, soft spicy aroma. Malty, caramelly sweet, soft roasty spicy flavor, full bodied, well dosed spices. Nice.

Bottle at home. Three year old. Pours a dark brown colour with a fast fading beige head. Aroma of oak, cloves, liquor, coffee, chocolate truffles and vanilla. Roasted flavour with ash, dark chocolate, grass and oak. Sweet undertones. Has a silky mouth feel, medium to full-bodied, medium bitterness. Quite tasteful and has an interesting chocolate bitterness. Rich and nice.

Bottle at home from Sterk, Amsterdam, 13th December 18. Pours a very dark brown. Aroma is spice, caramel, cinnamon. Taste is spice, cinnamon, clove, caramel, sweet, but not overly. Pretty nice.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of cinnamon, clove, chocolate and dark fruit. Pours almost black color with thin quickly diminishing light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and roasted malt, following is fruity, spicy and earthy, mouthfeel is alcoholic and quite smooth, while finish is grassy bitter. Full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Top klaas...

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Svart. Mokkafarget tett skum som daler veldig sakte. Etterlater litt lacing. Aroma av kokosmakroner. Smaken kanel. Forsterkes i ettersmaken. Mye jul her - men lite variasjon.
