Bottle at home. Aroma is funky, malt, wood, tart apples, rotten fruits, some buttery notes, sweet wine. Flavour is light sweet and only lightly sour. Body is medium. Too malty and lacking complexity and a solid sour flavour. Just very meh. Son, I am disappoint.

Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie; 24th Feb 2020. Via Mat, cheers for this cap and corked 750ml bottle. 2015 Vintage, Vat 05, bottle 132, BB Jan 2030. Beige top on a misty golden body, apple farmyard aroma and taste, semi-sour apples at that. I do try and enjoy these beers, but really struggle; scored objectively.

75cl bottle (2015) @ monthly beer share, Chez Sophie, Feb '20 during the famous Shrewsbury floods of 2020. Thanks MonsterMagnet for this. Misty golden orange, off white froth. Aroma of musty caramel, wild meadow. Taste presents some herbal caramel murmurs alongside the wild, floral farmyard-funk tang. Nice aged rounded depth of flavours here.

Vat 5, Bottle 32. Golden color. Vinegar, wet wood, honet and lemon in the aroma. Sharp oak, a hint of vinegar, bitter walnuts, honey and rotten fruit in the flavor. Complex bitter finish. Vinous. Many off flavors but interesting nevertheless

Bottle, thanks Edo! Didn't enjoy the combination of aroma and taste at all.

Bottle from Secret Sinterklaas Bierkoning @ home. Had this bottle for a while so I decided it was finally time to open it. Beautiful golden colour with a small white head. Lots of bubbles going on. Smells oak, wood, apple, cider, cork, brett. Tastes dry, candy, oak, wood, slightly leathery, cherry stone, grape peel, slightly peppery. Medium body, medium carbo. It's kinda weird, it's probably not a great beer according to the professionals, but I like it.

Bottle, thanks herrklemann and bierkoning! Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is stinky feet, parmesan, hoppy, jam. Taste is hoppy, jam, pale ale, wild. Oily mouthfeel with high carbonation. Like a bad attempt at Orval.
