Dark brown. Sort of a rummy aroma. Ok, so that's more sherry on the palate, and tannins. Soft body, chocoately, and that creates an interesting interplay between the base and the barrel.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma has plenty of wood, light sherry, and rooibos tea. Flavour is dry, with sherry barrels, dry wood, fruit rooibos tea, and a touch of vanilla. Quite fruity, yet very barrel-forward. Malt base is decent but not complex. It’s alright.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025. Pours black with a beige head. Sherry, roasted malts, and vanilla on the nose. Flavour has a decent amount of roasted malts, bitter rooibus, some sherry. It's a bit jumbled and slapdash.
