The last beer we brewed with SOMA was back in 2020! Thankfully, they were able to make the journey over this time and brew a brand new DDH IPA full of our combined favourite hops, Moteuka and Nectaron.

440ml can. Murky golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, peaches, lychee. Taste leans more into the stone fruits with a lot of peach dominating, with lime, grapefruit, mandarin in support, pleasant sweetness, light pithy hop finish. Medium bodied.

9th October 2025
Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly off white head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts but adequate creamy sweetness. Light pine. Quite a floral aspect to the hops here, reminds me of Motueka of old. A trace of lime and a decent juicy stone fruits bring up the back end. Could have a little more body but just effortless class from Track.

Can from Against The Grain. Hazy golden body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of apricot, yeast and tangerine. Flavour of lime peel and grapefruit peel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Punchy and limey. The Motueka in this is shining.
