Pretty solid stout here, and among the better beers I've had from Hi-Wire. Roast and coffee, dark chocolate. Vanilla is pretty light here, I don't get a lot of it. Black pour without much head for a stout. Bitter finish with long lasting coffee leave. Can.

Opaque black pour. Dense tan head. Roasted malt nose is redolent of brewed coffee. First sip brings notes of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Thick and chewy on the palate. Bittersweet chocolate finish.

Black color, tan head with short retention. Aroma with notes of roasted malts, strong coffee presence and slightly vanilla. Flavor with a light bitterness, roasty, coffee beans. Roasty final with a high presence of coffee notes.
