Black with a smallish tan head. Sweet roasted malts, cocoa, molasses, earth, coffee. Full bodied. Finish is long with bitter notes and sweet chocolate. Less sweet than expected but definitely sweet. Tasty.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt with mocha, chocolate, syrup, coffee, liquorice, notes of ripe dark fruits and a faint hint of hops. Flavour is rather sweet with a fairly strong roasty bitterness. Body is medium to full. Quite sweet and syrupy, bit boozy. Enjoyable nightcap.

T: full malty base, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark caramel, toffee, vanilla, cookies, nice balanced long lasting bitterness, bit vinous, soft carbonation, very good for the style, fully enjoyed.
