Near black pour with a lingering tan head. Aroma is of roast malt and peanuts. The flavor is pretty balanced with sweet malt, peanuts, a little chocolate, and roastiness. Dryish finish. Alcohol is buried. Very good.

Bottle thanks to Joe. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong cocoa, peanuts, roast. Slick body, peanut butter, roast, dark chocolate, light dry finish, very nice.

Peanut butter, chocolate malt, and dry hay/ash aroma. Black with large brown head. Moderately sweet peanut butter, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter dry hay, wood/ash flavor. Good body. Pretty good - a fairly dry beer

Strong sweet baby Jesus. But coppery and bitter weirdness. I wish my sweet baby jesus didn't bail out of my fridge so I could try it side by side. Weird in these duclaws but I remember sweet baby Jesus being amazing. Maybe the flavors don't live long.
