Bottle. Light amber color with no head. A tad of lace. Aroma is citrus, pine and spruce. Taste is a bitter orange with hints of spruce and a really bitter finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks kerenmk. Deep golden. Aroma slightly stale hops, malt, a bit of caramel. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of caramel, and bitterish citric and piney hops with a light stale note. Light to medium-bodied. Decent.

12 oz. bottle with no dating found. A: Poured a huge creamy head in my chalice. Long retention looks like an ice cream float. Rich orange tinted clear gold body. S: Orange zest and brown toast mainly. Amber-esque. T: Fruity and pine flavors meld together then a mild malty sweetness. Hoppy but with nice balance. More orange toward the end. M: Soft creamy carbonation from the still standing head. Longish coating finish. O: Pleasant surprise here. Well priced and widely available means an easily recommended pale ale. Points though for no dating.

Tap. Pours hazy golden Amber, medium beige head, good lacing. Aroma is light, oddly non descript. Hints of bathroom, citrus. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, kinda harsh. Not really much going on. Light plus body, lingering bitterness. Meh...

Bot. Short burst of hop perfume when popped. Rather cloudy light orange. Taste is not as rude as expected, actually quite muted. Yes, for a pale ale, it does not get too close to the ipa border. I found this rather decent for an ale change. Bitterness builds to the finish but its never quite in yer face.

Pours a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of piney hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Keg at the brewery, Asheville, 17/02/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malt, melon, tangerine, straw. Taste comprises orange, melon, straw, toasted bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so APA, lacks hop presence.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Bruisin' Ales, 1/2/15

Aroma: The nose is light and hoppy, herbal notes, a little citrus, and some earth
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a frothy off-white head and spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is along the same lines, with a clean light bitterness and a light sweetness
Palate: Light-medium bodied, easy drinking, a hint thin, soft carbonation, and a light dry finish
Overall Impression: Well the stupid hotel fridge half froze this beer, so I only had about 8 ounces. Thanks hotel fridge. Really, thanks. Anyway, this is a pretty decent, clean APA. It isn't super sweet or super hoppy. Very balanced. A little thin, but otherwise pretty decent.

Bottle brought back from NC. Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma was nice pine hops, with some herbal notes, caramel malts. Flavor was nice light citrus notes, herbal hops. Pretty enjoyable.
