Bastante disfrutable.

Copper with a tall head. Malty, grassy hops, light bright notes, toasted, light earth. Full bodied. Feels a touch flabby but otherwise solid.

It is a nice bitter, classical, all the things that you could expect, malt, hop, bitterness, a bit watery, the body is copper. 28.09.2016, buying it at Madrid, good brewery, for me I was almost never disappointed.

They make a true true classic not even a modernized classic, like the way it once was. Lorien ams

On tap at Stuyck Co. Pours a clear amber gold with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has bread and hay with a bit of grass and light sweetness supporting. Flavor has bread and hay with some sweet grains and a touch of grass in the finish.

Keg at Olgod - BCN. Pours clear copper-gold with a frothy, white topping. Light-medium sweet flavour with light doughy malts, sun-kissed grain, some leaves and mellow pine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish. Fine overall.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 11B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (Bottled on 26/10/2020 - BBF 26/10/2021). AROMA: medium-low sweeet malt aroma with a relatively neutral character. medium-low cereal husk and low sulphur and isovaleric acid. APPEARANCE: light amber color and clear. medium-low off-white head with ok retention. TASTE: initial medium-low cereal husk flavor, medium-low to low toffee malt and faint herbeceous hop. medium-high to high bitterness with a dry to harsh bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. low astringency present. OVERALL: a poorly executed best bitter-like beer.
