For this special DDH IPA we've pulled together some very unique hops from New Zealand's Eggers, a niche hop grower specialising in Riwaka and cultivating their own variant named Eggers Special which we're delighted to get our collective hands on.

Appearance- murky yellowy orange, with a small white head. Aroma is hop resin, fruit salad, pineapple, papaya, mango, grapefruit, citrus fruit. Taste is fresh tropical fruits, hop bitterness, sweet pineapple and orange, pulpy hoppy fruit, tangerine.

Murky orange topped with an off white cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is dank hop, ripe tropicana, grass, pine resin, grapefruit.
Taste comprises juicy citric flesh, pine resin, dank chimes, hop spice, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Solid IPA.

Chop @ Aarhus Together, 2025. Pours hazy Golden with a White head. Dank, weed and almost spicy hoppy. Smoothness. Chewy. Dope

Notes when tried 2 Dec 25. Day 2 of GMcG Advent. Hazy to cloudy pale orange yellow. Some tropical friit. Light juicy sweet. Smooth body.

440ml can. Almost opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma of mango, mandarin, dank, slight savoury note. Taste is very juicy, tropical, mango, guava, mandarin, big dank herbal hit with a bit of a savoury finish with some pithy citrus, sweet leaning. Medium bodied, smooth.

Can from Eltham Wines. Nose is zesty orange, mango, peach,papaya, pineapple. Sweet citrus burst on the palate, whack of nectarine & mango. Zesty citrusy aftertaste. Very nice.

Pours milky orange gold with a thin head that fades. Loads of dank hop, a little caramel, sticky orange, mango, grain. Big dank bitter sticky hop finish. Get a bit of booze heat too. Good stuff

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A clouded greenish yellow coloured pour with a a fading loose white head. Aroma is woody dank, rubber, green mango, waxy citrus. Green citrus hops. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, big dank hop, green citrus, green mango,, waxy citrus light weed. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, slick, moderate carbonation. Assertive hop bitterness lingering.
