This hazy IPA is loud, layered, and impossible to ignore – hopped to oblivion with NZ Cascade, Southern Cross, Peacharine, Riwaka and Southern Cross Hop Kief. It’s tropical. It’s twisted. It won’t shut up. Is the voice real? Is Sid? Are you? It doesn’t matter. What is real is the beer.

Panda thanks to Wingman. A modest haze on this gold beer, small bubbly off white head. Light palate, thinnish and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts manage a pretty modest sweetness. Light cooling pine into touches of bitterness and skunk. Fairly bright tropical fruits, rounded pineapple and a suggestion of guava. Mild hop spice on the semi dry finish. The body I find a bit meh, but the taste is good.

Nose is juicy tropicana, grass, mandarin, papaya, pine resin, mango pulp.
Taste comprises pissy NZ hops with Riwaka shining, dank spike, guava, pine resin, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Solid kiwi hop powered IPA.

Aromas are resin, tropical fruits, citrus, onion and a little floral. Flavors are similar to nose with onion dominating. Add in a little stone fruit. Good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Good but not great.

Pours a hazy, lemon-banana yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is pretty dank, with a note of green onion/garlic upfront, along with citrus and tropical fruits. Flavors all follow, including the onion/garlic. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.
