(On tap at VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Dec 4 2014) Pours a quite hazed deep brown with a small tan head, quite lacy. Aroma is of the Flanders brown type, a dark bready and lightly caramelized malt core, tart/sour cherry, lots of wood, some vinegar acidity with a touch of lemon. On the palate, same characters as expected, a fairly light malt core with tart cherry/red berry, wood, lemon juice, touch of vinegar, bit earthy and toasted towards the finish. Malts fade out a bit at the finish and acid comes to the fore with some fruit, lighter body and lower flavour concentration revealed. Light-medium oily body with soft carb. A decent oud bruin but the flavours could be bigger and more concentrated as could the feel, especially in the finish. Still quite drinkable.
