On tap. Pours with a crystal clear golden hued body with a large and lasting white head. Aromas are bready, grainy, floral, mild esters, pear, spicy hops and a touch of nasal burn from spice. Lightly grassy, a touch of citrus. Flavors are grainy, earthy, bready, saffron, toasty, light esters. Phenols, peppery spice, pepper corns. Spiciness is more subdued than I thought/feared it might be (good thing). Lively carbonation, medium to light bodied. A bit vegital. Dry.
