Can from Dan: mahogany brown with huge head. Aroma is maple, nutty, maltiness. Taste is lightly sweet. Not too bitter. Malty. Easy and fine.

Bottled. Brown pour. Loads of maple syrup and brown sugar, bready malts & some vanilla. Pretty well done.

Bottle. A clear, brown color with a three finger head. Aroma is grains and a little to the malty side. Taste was a lttle bitter than I care for.

12 oz bottle. Slightly reddish brown and clear, full bodied. Malt and maple aroma. Maple and vanilla sweet taste, malty finish.

Draught @ Jojo's Restaurant and Taphouse, Frederick, MD. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown with small off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of caramel. Roasty and malty flavour with notes of caramel and maple syrup and nuts. Slightly acidic and estery aftertaste. A decent Brown Ale.

Draft at Growler USA. Clear maroon color, beige head. Aroma of molasses, maple, brown sugar. Taste is very sweet maple on a roast background.

Slightly hazy, muddied brown coloured body with a tint of amber and ruby and a small off-white head. Aroma of maple, toasted malt, caramelised sugars and a bit of earth - relatively nice. Medium-bodied; Very assertive maple syrup flavours with a lot of earth and grain, some lighter toffee and caramelised sugar notes and a bit of mellow funk noticeable at the end. Aftertaste shows the caramelised sugars, a good deal of earth and a light flavour of maple syrup. Overall, a surprisingly nice beer with a lot of good flavours and nothing really bad at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 01-September-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Upstate (New Paltz), New York on 23-November-2016.
