Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-caramel color with a large foamy orange-tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sour mash, a bit of dark fruit, but and bread. The flavor was strong maple syrup, a bit of toasty malts, dark fruit and caramel. Long maple finish. Medium body. Solid.

I’m a bad Canadian - this doesn’t do it for me at all. Too much maple. Light burnt toast aroma and a hint of malt. Amber pour with ok head. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Red Hen.

Tap at the brewery. Red pour. Very pretty color. Aroma is not strong. I don't smell the maple. Taste is grassy, some funky maple, bitter glue. Not a fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

10oz pour at Spacebar. Poured a dark brown color with a small light tan head. Aroma was lots of sweet maple notes, especially noted by my gluten-free friend when it was sniffed. Flavor was rich dark brown sugar, lots of maple sweetness. Actually pretty tasty, could almost drink this with breakfast.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of maple syrup, light chocolate and roast. Tastes of big maple syrup, light chocolate, caramel. Medium body with a dry finish. Tastes like maple syrup drenched pancakes in a glass.
