Mjød nr. 4 Jæger Mjød er en lidt sødere og mørkere mjød. Vi har tilsat lakridsrod og Muscovadorørsukker der har sin oprindelse på Mauritius og udvindes af sukkerrør. Mjød nr 4 er en mere likøragtig mjød som egner sig fortrinligt til isdesserter og andre søde desserter. Ofte vælger jægere netop denne mjød, som en morgen bitter fordi den smager herligt og så er der jo kun 16% alkohol, det er da smart, når man nu skal på jagt.” 😉

Bottle @ Godsbanen, Aarhus. Pours dark golden, no head, light oily lacings. Aroma of honey, wood, dry leaves, herbs. Flavor is light sweet, honey, wood, herbs, green leaves, alcohol. Medium to full body, no carbonation, light oily mouthfeel, light sweet finish with warming alcohol. 151017

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours clear golden with a few small off white bubbles. Aroma of sweet honey and the normal floral notes with some alcohol. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Medium bodied with alcohol warmth in the palate and no carbonation.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Clear orangy color, no head. Smell and taste sweet, honey, alcoholic a bit. A bit too sweet for me this one to like it.

Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Klare dunkel goldene Farbe. Geruch sehr süß, viel Honig, alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr süß, penetranter Honiggeschmack, brennend alkoholisch.

Runder süß honiger Antrunk. Der Mittelteil ist weniger gut, der Honig verliert deutlich an Intensität, so dass der Met wässrig wirkt. minimal alkoholischer Hintergrund. Okay. 8/9/9/7/8/9

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours clear, oliy amber with no head. Clear aroma of honey and roast. Sweet flavour of honey, with notes of roast and floral touches. Warming alcohol presence. Nice.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with no head. Aroma is phenolic and honey herbal. Sweet, honey and slight herbal. Dense honey to pollen finish.
