Some vegetable forals and decent citrus. Hazy amber pour with decent head and lacing. Some oak. Not a ton of complexity here, but easy drinking and decent. Light tangy end. Tap at Shelter.

Tap at the brewpub, 2015 vintage. Pours almost clear light red/salmon. Aroma is funk, light oak barrel, and indeed some flowers which could be hibiscus. Body is light, quite sour and really tart, but with a fruity sweet backbone to not lift off the ground. Sweet palate, too. Palate continues and carries the fruit far down the throat.

2015 version on tap at the brewery. Aroma is bright with some citrus and light stone fruit notes. Hints of oak with medium light floral hibiscus aromas. Pours a rather clear, brilliant, ruby red color with a small, thin, slightly pink head that disappears immediately. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a bit of a sharpness to it. Some faint grain notes with light oak. Some citrus, pineapple, and underripe stone fruit. Medium light floral hibiscus notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly watery with a medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with solid hibiscus notes. The base golden sour shows through nicely exhibiting some citrus and stone fruit notes. Acidity is a bit strong and sharp for me though.
