On tap at the Brick Store Pub. Cloudy brown color, with a medium, fine, tan head. The aroma is chocolate pudding, vanilla, black cherries, and maple. Sweet and malty up front, with a smooth transition to sour. Medium body, creamy and smooth mouthfeel. This is a truly unique beer, and the best sour stout I’ve tried.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese. Pours brown with a tan head. Aroma is musty/cherry/woody/sour. Near full bodied. Flavor is heavy treacle, musty/woody/earthy/sour/berry. And maybe chocolate. There’s a lot going on here. It’s not dry, but it seems dry. It’s not bitter, but there’s some bitter aspects. It’s woody/oaky/fruity/sour - but the sour is rather mild. This is not BFM mouth rending sour. It is a decent sour red/brown. I recommend it.

Pours an almost black from a bottle. Nice fruity sour aroma. Flavor is an intense mish mash of pomegranate molasses, coffee, and oak. Nicely sour. Interesting and pretty good beer.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a very dark brown color with a huge foamy dark tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tart and sour with chalk, soy sauce and brett. The flavor was sour and tart with soy sauce, strong brett, cherry and molasses. Long finish. Medium body. Odd but ok.

Saturday night bottle share. Bottle thanks to Rick. Lively bottle foamed up on opening, and didn’t settle down for a while, but it was still good. Tart and funky as the name implies.
