Geez—not another IPA! That’s right, this is not just another IPA. Consider it a next generation IPA. A slightly sweet, lower ABV, IPA providing welcome relief from the onslaught of bitter hop-bombs out there. Its complex aromatic layers—suggest mango, melon, pine and berries—are driven by Mosaic and Citra hops which are then balanced by an acidulated and pilsner malt bill. Finally, its silky smooth mouthfeel will leave you asking for “mo.”

In marked contrast to the Session IPA this Citra & Mosaic 50 IBU beauty was canned pretty much 3 months to the day it was drunk. Gimme Mo IPA 6.2% Clear copper with a thick off-white head of foam. The aroma is fruity and features mango, papaya, maybe strawberries as well as your typical IPA pine notes. Medium to full bodied with a smooth velvety mouthfeel. The taste is very much sweet fruity IPA with just enough of a bitter bite in the finish to say "yeah, I AM an IPA". Well balanced, well priced (about 5-600¥ on Rakuten) and with a flavor that matches the aroma. I'd say this is one to try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma wasn’t bad but the sweetness coupled with the slightly soft carbonation and also just a bit thin body made this not quite as good as it could have been

Can. Copper orange color with a modest beige head. Quite a bit of sticky lacing. The hop notes are mild in the aroma, soft citrus and melon. Taste reminds me that it can be rich and full of flavor without being overly intense. Nice citrus and melon hop flavors, sweet and moderately bitter.

Can share at RBBWG 2017, thanks for sharing.

New England style IPA from the opposite side of the country, shared by BuckeyeBoy at RBBWG. Medium sized, egg-white, stable head, clear golden robe with peachy hue. Dank aroma with a lot of urine-like ’old’ hops, damp hay, unripe mango, green banana, tropical flowers past their prime, dough, lychee. Fruity onset, hints of maracuja, yellow kiwi and starfruit, soft carbo, cereally malt middle with somewhat soapy mouthfeel, soft, aromatic hoppy finish with tropical fruitiness retronasally (passion fruit, mango), spicy peppery touch in the back of the mouth but juicy. Enjoyable IPA but I tend to expect more yeasty effects and more sweet fruitiness in the nose from the new East Coast substyle.
