Oxidized Cider | Aged in Montepulciano Barrels
This cider sat still for 17 months — untouched, unracked, and unbothered — in a freshly emptied Montepulciano barrel. From December ’23 to May ’25, time did what time does best: transformed.
A Measure of Time leans into quiet oxidation, trading fresh fruit for something deeper and more contemplative. Notes of toasted pistachio, almond skin, and sun-drenched apple give way to a bone-dry finish that calls to mind fino sherry — saline and nutty.

This isn’t your porch-pounder. It’s your sip-slow, lean-back, let-it-unfold cider. A patient expression of place and process.

Drink it with: marcona almonds, jamón, preserved lemon anything, tinned sardines or someone who gets it.

Made for: sherry lovers, deep thinkers, and anyone who knows that time is an ingredient too.

This is the third release in our ongoing oxidized “Love of Jura” series, following Southern Flor and One for the Fishes.
