A Hazy DIPA with Nectaron, Motueka & Bru-1.
"Like the moon, we can think that hops have different phases, varying with each crop year, from the picking window to the soil they were grown in. This DIPA is dry hopped with a new Motueka, Nectaron and Bru-1 batch we received, with loads of NZ funk and a hefty amount of fruitiness, like lime, pineapple and stone fruits."

440ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, slightly piney and resinous, hoppy and wheaty, oaty and pale malty aroma, notes of yellow stone fruit (mostly nectarine) and white grapes, hints of gooseberry, kiwi fruit, a touch of woody pineapple. Taste is moderately bitter, resinous, piney and slightly tart-ish fruity, minimally grassy hoppy, oaty and wheaty malty basis, notes of "green" fruit, white grapes, gooseberry, unripe kiwi fruit, some unripe yellow stone fruit, woody pineapple.
Somehow acid thinned, creamy-watery texture, dry, slightly pungent, minimally astringent palate, medium to fine, dense, prickly carbonation.
Rich and manifold, almost a tad aggressive hop flavours - very good!

Hazed orange golden topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, grapefruit, pine resin, dank spike, NZ hop presence.
Taste comprises orange pith, lychee, guava, grapefruit, hop spice, pine resin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly resinous come danko hop biterness.
Tidy DIPA.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this yellow gold beer, small pale cream colour head that lasts about 2 seconds. Light smooth pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. The hop trio are well chosen, light key lime goes well with the Nectaron stone fruits and, Bru-1 fills in all the gaps presenting a rich old smorgasbord of hop fruits. Light pine and some hop spice nip on the light finish. Nicely done. Bright and juicy dipa that is very crushable.

0,44l can from the brewery. Canned 16.8.2025, bbe 06/2026. Murky dark yellow beer with small and quickly totally vanishing head. Aroma is tropical fruits, hops and malts. Flavor follows with hops, tropical and citrusy fruits and nice bitterness. Very nice.

Pålitelige notater fra ekskursjon til Oslobyen den 13.10.25. Etter startgropa hos Amundsen har jeg klokket inn en fin rundetid på Cafe Fiasco, og distansen til Mad Goat er for en sjarmøretappe å regne: uklar skittengul med ok skum. Forførende citrusparade i en solid maltkropp, dette minner til forveksling om Salikatt (som de forøvrig har mange av på fat her). Deilig bitterhet og saftig avslutning. Håper Bjarte inviterer dem til et samarbeidsbrygg!

Poured light yellow in color, thin white head.
Gooseberry, grapefruity pithy hop juice. Dry, zesty. Very fresh, green. Intense flavor, white grape notes, lemon. Pretty amazing stuff.
