Sixer at home. Lovey dark brown pour. Smaller head. Nose is roasted malt. Tastes of toasted malts, chocolate, caramel, molasses, nuts, earth, plum. Smooth and medium bodied.

Bottle. Mahogany beer with a tan head. Chocolate and coconut aroma. Coconut and light caramel flavor with light chocolate. Medium bodied. Coconut and light caramel linger with light chocolate.

Pours brown and bubbly with a thick tan head. Aroma of nutty malt. Taste has chocolate, nut butters, roasted coffee and malt. Palate has nuts on the nose, slight toasted coconut. Good.

Bland and thin, offering up sweet initial notes of coconut and chocolate before fading into mild toasted malt nothingness, finishing with a hint of toast and banana. Not offensive, but not interesting in the slightest.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours clear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is a bit of a puzzler. Chocolate. Caramel. Toasty coconut. Vanilla? Something else anyway. Med body or so. Flavor leads with toasty coconut. There’s caramel malt. Not a lot of chocolate. But coffee? Could be. Dryer than expected. It’s bitter, and perhaps that suggests the coffee. Not a breakfast drink IMHO. Nice.

Part 2 of what has coincidentally turned into Maryland beer night. Very dark brown with a creamy light beige head. Aroma full of milk chocolate and coconut. Taste is mildly sweet, burnt tropical, full of coconut, coffee and roasted caramel. Medium body with mild carbonation. Light stickiness. The coconut works nicely here. Pretty good.
Pkg 0919. Super coconutty brown ale. Thin and light but Hella coconut and chocolate, vanilla is huge too. Macaroon light and thin brown ale, proper description.

Pours dark brown and smells very malty with chocolate, caramel, and coconut. It tastes sweet and malty. I noticed more chocolate than anything though the coconut is in there too. Medium bodied. There's enough hops to keep it from being a sugar bomb. Pretty tasty.
