Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a a fine off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, parma violets, orange rind, dishwater,. Flavour is composed of tired stale grains, fruity esters, light alcohol note, pine. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, stale grains, ok cask condition. Meh.

Cask up the White Lady. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas are slightly sulphurous, light lemon and biscuit. Taste is chalky and odd. Something chemical and bubblegum. Not sure if this was the brewers intention? Didn't finish it. Which for a £1.99 pint is saying something. Tick 10 I think from the fest.

Wetherspoon 2025 Autumn Beer Festival. Ale#12 of 26 untried possibilities at the fest. Golden with a creamy head. Session smooth texture, a little bland in its hoppy-fruitiness, especially in its dryish aftertaste.

Clear pale gold with a frothy white head and a mellow lemon biscuits aroma. Light bodied but smooth, soft fleshy fruit malt taste, some floral hop character with mellow citrus bitterness and a dry finish.
