Poured from 330mL can (bb 01/2026; batch 22.125). Black with light tan head. Caramel, gentle roast, burnt sugars, hint of vanilla, does have a slight artificial flavouring vibe, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Can, 11.5%. Pungent vanilla/marshmallow aroma. Black colour. Tight dark brown head. The flavour is quite sweet with a good marshmallow note. Caramel notes, but I would not say fudge. Papery and vinous finish with a good warming alcohol touch. Very late coffee aftertaste. Surprisingly, not too sweet for me.

Can. Dark brown with no head to speak of. Aroma of chocolate, caramel and coffee. Taste of dark chocolate, port, caramel, coffee, fudge and mousse au chocolate with a warming alcoholic finish. Moderate bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Very balanced. Creamy mouthfeel. Luscious and delicious. This is a chocolate fudge bar turned into a beer resulting in a Pastry Stout done right. A word of caution though: Fruit flies love this as well and if given the chance drown in it by the dozen.

1/3 pint, draught at BrewDog Birmingham, shared with Finn. Black in the glass, naked at the surface, scattered lacing. Smoothly roasted caramel-chocolate aromas. Rich flavours of chocolate fudge, joined by caramel and a welcome backdrop of coffee. Smooth, lightly roasted close, warming down the swallow. Sweet sipper qualities. (Birmingham 13.02.2023).

Delt med Rune. Svart. Filmskum med litt farge. Tydelig sjokoladearoma. Smaken karamell & sjokolade.Litt kakao i avslutninga. Akloholen godt kamuflert.

Draught@Littlepub, Vaasa. Black colour, mediumszied brown head. Aroma is fudge, mild toast, chocolate, some mild alcohol sweetness with a bit creamy elements too. Flavour is a beautiful blend of the elements mentioned in the aroma. Good dessert stout, which is not too sweet.
