Older rating from notes. Smell- very malty, weak belgian yeast, caramel. Foam - weak malt, roast, caramel, Belgian, acidic tones. Appearance- generic bottle cap, simple label, like tophat. From - bottle Taste - malty, Belgian yeast, caramel, weak acidic tones, bit alcoholic in a way. Average, but definitely not bad.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Very dark brown almost black beer with a very thick beige head. Toffee, dark syrup flavour. Some chocolate. Malty aroma. It’s ok I guess. A bit too overly malty for me. ok.

Bottle at the End of an Era tasting at ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a murky light brown with a thin whispy off white head. The aroma is yeast, light fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light watery floral hop palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared @ final old style THT. Huge gusher. Murky brownish water looking like it came from a nearby ditch, although I wonder how many of those are around in The Hague. Smell and taste sweetness, some yeast, grapes. Average body and carbonation.
