Remember this dinner classic from germans economic miracle era? Pineapple ring, sour cherry, melted cheese, ham stacked on white bread like culinary Tetris? Together with Heerlijk! from Heidelberg we brewed that vibe into a glass. But don’t worry… Just the pineapple part. Toast Hawaii is a hazy full on Pineapple IPA made with real pineapple, a yeast producing pineapple esters and Riwaka, Azacca, and Sabro hops. Juicy, tropical, sweet, tangy, and just fun — Smooth haze softens the bite, while layers of pineapple, citrus and subtle coconut make every sip taste like a holiday on VHS. Retro snack, modern pint — Prost!

Weicher, herb fruchtiger Hopfenbeginn. Mild nach Ananas, rund, nur milde Süße. Spritzig, eher trocken herb, mittellanger Abgang, OK. 10/8/8/9/9/8

440ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Wheaty and slightly oaty, malty as well as slightly fruity hoppy and minimally dusty, yeasty and yeasty spicy aroma, some pineapple, a touch of orange, whiffs of mustard seed. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty and oaty malty, slightly bitter, minimally zesty, citrusy fruity hoppy and minimally tart-ish fruity, minimally yeasty spicy, hints of tangerine, orange peel, some woody pineapple, a touch of mustard seed; minimally tart-ish, zesty and almost a bit tannic finish.
Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry and almost a tad astringent palate, medium to fine, very dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well crafted concerning appearance and texture, but the pineapple added seems to have had disadvantageous effects - not convincing.
