Taster pour at the source. Appearance is hazy pinkish-red (like a rosé), no sparkle, thick light purple head (but keg just kicked so hard to know how much was legit) with poor retention and no lacing. Aromas is light berry, wheat, yeast. Taste is mix of tart and sweet berry, with tart being more dominant. Palate is light bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation with mix of sweet and tart berry finish. Overall, avoids the one-eye-closing sourness of a typical Berliner Weisse and it is fairly balanced between tart and sweet, so for those that like a smidge of tart this may be good for you, but tart just isn't my thing.

Can at Stags Head out of draft kicks headed to bottle/can list. Peachy purple pour out of can almost no head. Nose is blueberry and lactose. Tastes of plenty of blueberry especially the skin, lactose, spicy wheat, lemon, touch of cherry as well. Semi tart zippy palate.

Pours a hazy reddish orange from a can, pink head with tiny bubbles quickly dissipating. Very effervescent. Aroma is of blueberry, feet and graham cracker. Flavor is blueberry, feet, guava, and whoever said meringue was quite right. Tart and refreshing, a bit of the beaten path with the flavor combos. Very good beer.

Pours deep amber into a snifter. White head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Blueberry and sweet meringue aromas. Sharp with lactic blueberry upfront turning to bitter pith before the lasting aspirin finish.

Poured into pokal.
The appearance was a hazy burnt pink color. Quickly dissipating filmy white head. No lacing.
The smell starts off with the sour-ed wheat, and then the blueberries with a slight twang of lemon rind and bitternesss underneath.
The flavor wraps it all together. Sticks to the \"sour\" side of the wheelhouse like a normal Berliner should. Meshed-in sticky sour feels it’s way into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionable feel to it. Carbonation does run fairly light. Leaves a nicely calculated sour-ness hitting my tongue.
Overall, I say pretty good Berliner Weisse that I would have again. Blueberries to me, yeah, I have a slight bias to those lil’ buggers, so having them in this beer is a plus. I like the idea, and this was executed nicely.
