Bottle from Tesco, Brighouse. Dark amber with a thin head. This hybrid Beer has plenty of lager character in its aroma and taste, with a smoother ale-like texture.

Bright clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is semi dry and crispy. Light dry pale malts, decent lager character. Mild citrus hop with some floral bitterness. Light dry finish, mild bitter linger. Clean and drinkable, if a little dry.

Bottle from Tesco. Drunk at home while listening to Debussy. Brown and thin. A bit of head but not much. Toffee, oranges, root beer, wood on the aroma. Taste is an artificial caramel sweetness only tempered by twiggy bitter. Earthy, nutty aftertaste. Grows on me, I have to appreciate it for what it is.
