Typický český tmavý ležák, jemný, mírně pražený, karamelový. Ne příliš sladký, ale ani ne příliš asertivní, zachovávající si signifikantní ležákovou pitelnost. Bohatá kombinace ječných sladů všech barev, dekokční rmutování, český chmel, pomalé kvašení a dlouhé zrání implikuje čistou krásu, jejímuž poznání je záhodno věnovat víc, než pár deci.
A classic Czech dark lager: smooth, mildly roasted, with notes of caramel. Not too sweet, yet not overly assertive, maintaining that distinct drinkability, characteristic of lagers. A rich blend of barley malts of all shades, decoction mashing, Czech hops, slow fermentation and long maturation result in a pure beauty worth more than just a small taste.

Opaque brown colour, good creamy brownish head. Toasted, a bit sweetish, coffeish aroma. Light-bodied. Toasted, chocolate, coffee, solid clean malt base. Some hops to back. Well-brewed dunkel. Tasty.

Town with a fizzy beige head. Caramel, chocolate, deeply toasted malts, light earth, toffee, also picking up some hop bitterness with pine. Medium bodied. Finish has the pine bitterness and caramel. Really interesting beer but for the most part it works.

0.5 l can thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Unclear brown, small beige head. Aroma is malty, toasty, caramely, a touch of coffee, butter and meadow flowers. Soft texture, soft carbonation. Malty flavour, coffee, toasty, roasty. Intense herbal bitterness, slightly out off balance.

Can from Base Camp, shared with the Zagreb crew. Very dark brown body, thick off-white head. Bit funky dry malty aroma, bit woody. Lean, dry taste, soft, lightly sweetish and creamy maltiness, roasty, ending with a significant amount of herbal bitterness. I'm liking this!

# 4800; 10/2025. Roasty, herbal aroma. Opaque dark brown body; persistent lacing thick beige head. Malty, roasty, herbal, light liquorice. Medium body; medium carbonation. Very good bohemian dark lager and typical example of the style. 0,5 l, draught, craft-beer bar (Beergeek), Prague.

Murky dark brown with a creamy head. Roasted malt, licorice, roasted nuts, dried figs, lemon, dark bread, hints of coffee and leather. Dry roasty hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry roasty malty bittersweet finish. A nice Tmavy, but not the most characteristic one, compared to the Czech brewpub Tmavys.
