Not the actual tripel in this range but still a tripel-like beer, with a cream white, decreasing, thin head and warm ’old gold’ colour; bready and doughy character, fruity (apple, peach), some weak honeyish sweetness, yeasty with mild spiciness, but solvents as well. Not the masterpiece as claimed above, but more than acceptable.

33cl Bottle at Tripel, A’dam. Clear amber with a reddish hue, white head. Aroma of confit fruit, raspberry candy, alcohol, esters, sweet malts, marzipan. Flavour is quite sweet, malty, confit fruit, hint of marmalade, candy, sharp glue-ish alcohol, decent malty bitter finish with some caramel and marzipan, something metallic. Medium to full-bodied. Nice beer.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Hansen & Zita for this bottle! Clear amber. Weird sweet aroma with malt, cookies, fruits, a bit of graininess, alcohol, a bit of oxidation and somewhat strange I can’t put my finger on. Sweet malty flavor with fruits, a bit of cardboard and alcohol. Medium-bodied. Pretty un-enjoyable.
